K[NO]W THIS OF THE ANGEL, SATAN – Kabbalah and New Life Wisdom

When we are able to see the Satan, it is usually a sign that a gift is coming. It usually gets very dark before it opens up.

Satan rules us until we can observe him, and then his power is taken away.

Rav Berg explained that most of the time we are not aware that every second of the day, the Opponent tries to play games with us. This force never rests. Therefore we need to know that when we overcome one challenge, there will always be another challenge waiting. When we fight ego, we always need to be on the lookout for the next layer of ego. As long as we are alive, we have spiritual work to do. We don’t want to be satiated and complacent, thereby blocking the Light from coming into our lives.

If we become satisfied with our spiritual growth, if we are too sure of our soul’s tikun, if ‘we’ve got it all figured out’ – then we will most likely be completely controlled by the Opponent, spending our days busy seeing what is wrong with other people and engaging in other negative actions. If, on the other hand, we are humble enough to know that the Opponent is always hiding –to know that we may see one aspect of the situation, but that there is always another level and layer – then we will be open to asking the Light for help, and take control over the forces of chaos in this world.

“Darkness is the only path to Light. It is not our wonderful gifts that make us closer to God, it’s using our garbage to transform ourselves. This is the key that unlocks the door that opens to God. At the end of the day, [we find] the key to happiness in taking ultimate responsibility for our reactions to all of our experiences – the good and the chaotic.”

The Satan is an angel of the Creator, a being of Light, “the bright morning star.” Satan’s role is to be each of our Opponent. Satan convinces us to react to life out of a place of lack, fear, or doubt, and that is always a short circuit and will eventually become chaos. This is why Satan is also called the Accuser.

“Submit your selues therefore to God: resist the deuill, and hee will flee from you.”

(52) “My spirit shall not always strive on account of man”

482. Rabbi Elazar said that in the future, the Holy One, blessed be He, will correct the world and transform the spirit of life in people, so that they live forever. About this, it is written: “For as the days of a tree shall the days of My people be” (Yeshayah 65:22), and “He will destroy death forever; and Hashem Elohim will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the insult of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for Hashem has spoken it” (Yeshayah 25:8).

“An expanded awareness and elevated consciousness, states the Zohar, is the secret message of Kabbalah in this Age of Aquarius. It is simply a matter of disengaging from the darkness of Satan consciousness and illusion and becoming consciously connected with the reality of the Lightforce of God.”

“Why do our bodies degenerate and age? We have permitted Satan the possibility to cling to the internal energy-Lightforce of the DNA. As we mentioned before, the Lightforce, recognizing the presence of Satan and his armada of chaos-producing subordinates—such as the Angel of Death—must of necessity withdraw in the face of Satan’s invasion of the cells that house the DNA. If the Lightforce did not withdraw, Satan would have an inexhaustible supply of energy.”

“[Thus], the well-being of each and every individual will always be determined by the outcome of the battle between the Lightforce and Satan. Connecting with the Lightforce, increasing its firepower, is what shall determine our future. This will be completely dependent on whether Satan is defeated or remains as a viable force in his effort to rain chaos onto our lives.”
