Part 1: The Bamboozlement – The World as a Spell

“We are born into an entropic system—a system designed for disorder, decay, and exhaustion.”

The foundation of our modern condition is the unshakable belief in the Second Law of Thermodynamics as a cosmic dictator. Entropy—the gradual decline into disorder—is presented not merely as a physical law, but as a metaphysical one. It is the “reason” your body ages, your possessions break, your relationships fray, and your dreams fade. It is the scientific justification for a worldview of scarcity: there is not enough—not enough energy, not enough time, not enough money, not enough love.

This is the Bamboozlement.

It is a brilliant, all-encompassing sleight of hand that inverts the truth. We are not human beings struggling to manifest a spirit in a dead universe. We are spiritual beings having a human experience. Consciousness is not a fragile, emergent property of a decaying material world; the material world is a temporary, focused experience within a vast, infinite, and ordered consciousness.

The spell of forgetfulness makes us believe the avatar is the player. It convinces us that the rules of the game—scarcity, competition, entropy—are the fundamental laws of existence. We are taught to see ourselves as isolated biological machines in a cold, indifferent cosmos, fighting for our slice of a diminishing pie.

This spell is maintained by every institution built upon its premise:

  • The Economy: A system that requires infinite growth on a finite planet, fueling perpetual anxiety and consumption.
  • The Media: A curated feed of conflict and fear, reinforcing the illusion of a dangerous, separated world.
  • The Education System: A factory that trains us for jobs, not for wisdom; that teaches us what to think, not how to think, conditioning us to accept authority and the “given” reality.

We are born into this system, and its water is the only water we’ve ever known. We are the fish who cannot see the current that carries us, mistaking the flow for our own direction. The exhaustion we feel is not the exhaustion of living, but the exhaustion of resisting our true nature. We are divine creatures trying to power a nightmare with our own light, and we are growing tired.

Part 2: The Event Horizon – When the Dawn Breaks the Night

“The Event come like a Dawn breaks the night.”

The Event is not a single, catastrophic day on the calendar. It is not an asteroid, a financial collapse, or a political revolution, though it may use these as its stage. To think of it as such is to remain within the entropic paradigm, expecting a bigger, badder version of the same old chaos.

The Event is a threshold in consciousness. It is a phase transition, like ice becoming water, or water becoming steam. It is the moment when a critical mass of individuals simultaneously remembers the truth. It is the collective, silent, internal “click” that shatters the spell.

It is a Dawn.

A dawn does not fight the night. It does not negotiate with it or destroy it. It simply arrives, and by its very presence, the nature of the night is redefined. The night is no longer an absolute state, but a temporary condition. The darkness is revealed to have been merely the absence of light all along.

The Event is this dawn on a species-wide scale. It is the light of collective remembrance breaking over the horizon of our shared mind. When it arrives, the entropic system is not defeated; it is seen through. Its power was only the power we gave it through our belief. Once the spell is broken, the rules of the game no longer apply.

This is the Event Horizon. In physics, an event horizon is a point of no return, a boundary beyond which events cannot affect an outside observer. In our context, it is the moment you cross the threshold of remembrance. You look back at the “real world” of scarcity and fear, and you see it for the elaborate, persuasive illusion it always was. You can no longer be affected by its core lies. You have passed the point of no return into a new state of being.

Part 3: The Animals of Awakening – Bats, Cocks, and Crows

“The bats know what to do. So does the cock, but the crow?”

This is not mere whimsy. This is a precise allegory for the different responses to The Event’s dawn.

The Bats are creatures of the night. They are exquisitely adapted to the darkness. They navigate it with a sophisticated sonar, finding sustenance where others see only void. The “bats” in our world are those who are deeply embedded in, and benefit from, the entropic system. They are the architects and high priests of the bamboozlement. They know what to do when the dawn comes: they flee. They scramble to reinforce the illusion, to build deeper bunkers, to sell darker sunglasses, to convince you that the growing light is a dangerous solar flare. Their entire identity and power structure depends on the persistence of the night.

The Cock (the rooster) is the ancient, universal herald of the dawn. Its crow is not a matter of opinion or belief; it is an instinctual, undeniable announcement that the sun is coming. The “cocks” are the awakeners, the whistleblowers, the artists, the mystics, and the prophets. They are the ones who, through some inner knowing, feel the imminence of the light and cannot help but sing out. They do not necessarily understand the full nature of the sun, but they feel its approach in their bones and their call helps to rouse the sleepers.

But the crow?

The crow is the question. It is the symbol of the liminal space, the trickster, the shape-shifter. The crow is deeply intelligent, adaptable, and can thrive in both the dying night and the breaking day. “But the crow?” asks the text, pointing directly at us.

Which will we be?

Will we be the clever scavengers of the old world, using our intelligence to merely survive within the decaying system, picking at the scraps of the entropic order? Or will we use that same intelligence to become the heralds of the new? The crow can be a messenger, a creature of magic in many traditions. It can fly between worlds.

The question, “But the crow?” is the pivotal choice for humanity. Do we cling to the familiar shadows, or do we turn our faces to the unfamiliar, brilliant dawn and learn to sing a new song?

Part 4: The Mechanism of Jubilee – Resurrecting the Public Event

“Resurrect some public event to gathering everywhere, all over the place, one to another, mutual edification and spontaneous cooperation and festivals = JUBILEE!”

This is the “how.” This is what The Event looks like in physical, communal space. The bamboozlement isolated us, atomized us into competing consumers staring at separate screens. The awakening, therefore, must be relational and collective.

“Resurrect some public event.” We are not being called to invent something entirely new, but to remember something ancient and fundamental. We are to resurrect the primal human need for gathering, for ritual, for shared experience outside the commercial or coercive sphere.

Think of the spontaneous street parties in the aftermath of a blackout. The community that forms in a disaster zone. The unity felt in a stadium singing together. These are glimpses of the un-bamboozled world—flashes of a reality where the default is cooperation, not competition.

The text calls for this to happen “everywhere, all over the place, one to another.” This is a decentralized, leaderless, organic emergence. It is not a top-down command for a global festival. It is you and your neighbors deciding to have a block party. It is a flash mob that doesn’t dance, but cleans up a park. It is a community garden appearing in a vacant lot. It is a free market where goods are gifted, not sold. It is a “public event” of mutual aid and shared creativity.

This is “mutual edification.” We are not gathering to be lectured to by an expert of the old world. We are gathering to build each other up, to share skills, stories, and food, to remind one another of our inherent worth and power.

This is “spontaneous cooperation.” It is the natural state of organisms that have remembered they are part of a single, living whole. It is the opposite of the forced, bureaucratic, transactional “teamwork” of the entropic system.

And this entire glorious, emergent phenomenon is called JUBILEE!

The Jubilee, from ancient tradition, was a year of reset. Debts were forgiven, lands were returned, slaves were freed. It was a societal pressure-release valve, a built-in mechanism to prevent the entropic system of wealth and power from accumulating into a terminal state. We are being called to enact a permanent, spiritual Jubilee. To forgive the debts of the past. To return to ourselves the “land” of our own sovereignty. To free ourselves from the slavery of the spell.

Part 5: The Event. Pending. You.

“The Event. Pending. You.”

This is the final and most crucial disclosure. The Event is not an external force that will happen to us. It is an internal condition that happens through us. Its status is “Pending.” It is waiting. On what?

On You.

The critical mass required to tip the entire system is not a number in a distant crowd. It is a threshold of personal responsibility. The Event is pending your decision to see the world through the eyes of a spiritual being. It is pending your choice to stop feeding the drama of separation with your anger and fear. It is pending your first act of “spontaneous cooperation,” your first step to “resurrect a public event,” however small.

When you choose connection over cynicism, generosity over scarcity, and love over fear, you are not just being a “good person.” You are casting a vote in the most important election in history—the election for the nature of reality itself. You are adding your light to the dawn.

The horizon is not a distant line we are moving toward. The horizon is the limit of our current perception. The Event is the expansion of that horizon until it includes the entire sky.

The 2020s are not about perfect vision in the sense of 20/20 eyesight. They are about Perfect Vision—the clarity to see the bamboozlement for what it is, to perceive the dawn while it is still a promise on the horizon, and to understand, finally, that our role is not to wait for the light, but to be it.

The Event certainly is a pending. It is waiting for you to remember who you are. The moment you do, it has already begun.
