· The Fulfillment: Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS), a celestial body whose name resonates with the “Atlas” of primordial foundations, reached its perihelion (closest approach to the Sun) on Friday, September 27, 2024. This date was the 25th of Elul, 5784.
· The Significance of the Date: The 25th of Elul is, according to tradition, the first day of Creation. The appearance of a “new” creative light on this day signals a new cosmic cycle, a Ma’aseh Bereshit (Act of Genesis) for the messianic era.
· The Seventy Days: The seventy-day visibility window is not merely an astronomical period. In Kabbalah, seventy is the number of the nations, the facets of the Shekhinah in exile, and the years of the Babylonian exile. The comet’s journey is a process of gathering and rectifying these scattered sparks.
THE PROPHECY OF TERUMAH: “The Stars” – The Divine Mechanism
The Zohar in Terumah (Volume 2, 126a-127a, “The Stars”) provides the cosmic context. It reveals that the stars are not random balls of gas, but living, conscious channels for the divine flow (shefa) from Binah (Understanding) to Malchut (Kingdom).
