1 And the third day there was a mariage in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Iesus was there.
2 And both Iesus was called, and his disciples, to the mariage.
3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Iesus saith vnto him, They haue no wine.
4 Iesus saith vnto her, Woman, what haue I to doe with thee? mine houre is not yet come.
5His mother saith vnto þe seruants, Whatsoeuer he saith vnto you, doe it.
6And there were set there sixe water pots of stone, after the maner of the purifying of the Iewes, conteining two or three firkins apeece.
7Iesus saith vnto them, Fill the water pots with water. And they filled them vp to the brimme.
8And hee saith vnto them, Drawe out now, and beare vnto the gouernor of the feast. And they bare it.
9When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was, (but the seruants which drew the water knew) the gouernor of the feast called the bridegrome,
10And saith vnto him, Euery man at the beginning doth set foorth good wine, and when men haue well drunke, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine vntill now.
11This beginning of miracles did Iesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory, and his disciples beleeued on him.
“Whenever we learn a lesson, great, we move on. Whenever we don’t learn a lesson, then in order to learn that same lesson the next time, it’s not going to take the same amount of effort or the same amount of time. It is going to take more effort and more time. We need to take advantage of the opportunity to do teshuvah (repentance), to look inside, to have the opportunity to cleanse inside. So, every moment is a gift before the time of judgment.”

(37) “The hidden light”
354. Therefore, we have learned about the verse: “He uncovers deep things out of darkness” (Iyov 12:22). Rabbi Yosi said, You may say that out of the concealed darkness, deep things are revealed, yet all of the supernal crowns are hidden. Therefore, they are called “deep things.” What is “He uncovers”? All these supernal deep things are only revealed from within that darkness, which is the secret of the night. Come and behold: All these hidden, deep things that emerge from Thought, which the voice takes up, are not exposed until the word manifests them. What is the word? It is speech.

It is since the Creator is a force of love, and loves us as much as anyone can love another, the only tightening of the bond can come from us. Hence, this force, the Creator, keeps increasing our egoism, so we may rise above it by strengthening our ties with Him.
As always, the only antidote to a rise in egoism is unity, and the greater the egoism, the more important it is for people to unite.
The wisdom of Kabbalah has been prepared as a method that can help us do just that—unite—and experience the Creator.
